Preapproval

Just a tidbit on what is your first item of order when you want to buy a house and that is to be pre-approved. I don’t mean pre-qualified; I mean pre-approved. You need to know your actual income and your actual budget. So, when you go out to purchase a home or make an offer on a home you know where you stand in your budget. You know how much more you can offer or what you can negotiate. Because right now in the market there’s no time to go back and forth, it is literally, knows what you can afford before you walk into a place. You can’t schedule a showing, then talk to your lender to figure it all out later. It needs to be where you’re at financially before you step foot in a home. Also being realistic about the homes that you’re going to seek out. Most of them are going to go over asking. If they’ve just hit the market and if they’re in your price range that a lot of people, they’re gonna fly! So get your finances in order, get pre-approved now, and that way you know your budget.
